These moderate Democrats could probably use a nudge. I know the White House uses their bully pulpit to keep these legislators line. We could take a few minutes to at least email them...couldn't do any harm!

I'm glad I could be of help...I sent a message to the Blue Dogs, called Cong Nye, and Senators Webb and Warner today. I hope they got a lot of calls.

Kill the bill...

I've been sending emails everyday, since early August, to Nye, Webb and Warner. I begin and end every email with FREEZE. KILL THE HEALTHCARE/INSURANCE (BAUCUS) BILLE. STOP THE BAUCUS BILL. Every email is different. What I do is read the news regarding the Bill, e.g. The Weekly Standard, Hands off my Healthcare, Heritage Foundation, National Review on Line, WSJ, Karl Rove's commentaries, and others, then develop an email that I will send the next day. I send these emails first things every morning! Also, I've developing a reading list for Cap and Trade and Card Check so that I can begin sending emails regarding these policies as well.

I don't send letters every day but I try to write, call or fax my thoughts each week.

I'd love to be privy to what's said in Webb and Warner's offices...I find Webb the most lax writing back of the three.

Warner sends me emails discussing anything and everything I didn't write to him about...go figure.

Radiobeams, I found the only way I could say enough was to say it often enough (daily and sometimes 3x-5x)so I disciplined myself as to when (first thing in the morning) and what (researched articles) I would say RELENTLESSLY. I'm glad you're writing regularly, and trust all the rest of the HRTeaParty members are doing likewise.

I hope we have the Pols on the run...it does seem that there is some managed chaos on the right side of the aisle.

I'm sure our elected officials want us to keep those cards and letter coming. lol

I get so disgusted with these elected officials. Today, I sent emails to about 15 different Senators and then tried to call others, with no luck getting through. I know that they do not even care what the people want. They will do whatever it takes to push this healthcare reform bill through, even if some Dems lose re-election. I am also upset with the fact that they plan to destroy the middle class. Unemployment and cost of goods will go up-not down. They lie when they say the recession is over. It is so important to get everyone out to the polls and vote these bumbs out of office. I wish we could throw half of them in prison for corruption and treason. I needed to sound off!

We MUST keep the pressure on ALL legislatures to FREEZE, KILL THE HEALTHCARE/INSURANCE BILLES. STOP THE HEALTHCARE BILLS. And ask them, "Have you no shame?" What a disgrace. You need JavaScript enabled to view it Moreover, we must begin now putting in place the infrastructure for a strong, positive campaigns and elections for statesmen in 2010-2012. We must not be weary in well doing. We must ignore the confusion that is superimposed from DC and remain steadfast, focused and active in the aforementioned efforts. Whew!

I am so ready to work hard and get "commonsense" conservatives elected.
I believe if Tea Parties across the nation, in every community, work hard to get the truth out there, we can get good people in office to uphold our constitution. We need a WAKE UP AMERICA! campaign. I agree it must be strong and positive, getting the people to listen and start to question what is going on in our country. When speaking to liberals I believe the right approach is to ask questions and not be overpowering. I want to leave them thinking about what I said instead of just being angry.

There are three things we can do to increase the probability of being heard in our state and DC. These are: (1) Go to http://www.letfreedomringusa.c...e_can_read
and encourage your Representative to sign on to House Resolution 554 which would require internet posting of non-emergency bills 72 hours before being voted on. The site provides the names of everyone who has and has not signed on. Nye (Norfolk) had not, and I immediately emailed him asking him to sign on to this Resolution. (2) Go to Michelle Bachman's web site and sign on to her newsletter and petitions. Peolsi has targeted her for replacement and is raising a zillion dollars for the campaign. Michelle needs our support. (3) To to www.feta.org and sign up for the newsletter and find out how our VA tax dollars are being spent. FETA is allied with the Northern Virginia Tea Party coalition. These are things we can do although we are very busy. Whew!

Might someone with the proper legal background give us a tutorial on the information we are LEGALLY BOUND to provide to the census? I don't wish to provide any information above and beyond what the law requires. I don't want to be intimidated by a census taker telling em "You are REQUIRED to provide this information UNDER PENALTY OF LAW!" I want to KNOW what I must provide and what I can legally refuse to provide.

Call the American Center for Law and Justice in Virginia Beach; they can answer your question. ACLJ defends the Constitution in state and federal courts and before the Supreme Court.

I am very interested in hearing your opinon about the withdrawn Republican candidate in NY23, who then endorsed the Democratic candidate.

Sometimes I feel worn out but still refuse to give up. When I start to feel like giving up I think of all of you. What a wonderful group of people we are! I feel a special bond with all of you! Thank You! This is not easy!
I was walking with some neighbors, this morning, and they thanked me, because they can not find the time. This made me feel good. They really appreciate and understand what we are doing. It wasn't too long ago that they really did not understand why I felt I had to go to Washington. Things are about to "change". There is "Hope" on the horizon.
